Tai Bai Turkey Sheet Pan Meal

Not only is this dish fun to say, it’s also a one-pan wonder that’s full of flavor and exotic spices—the perfect way to mix up your weeknight dinner routine.

Tai Bai sauce:
  • ½ tbsp. Szechuan peppercorns, crushed
  • 1 tsp. Chinese five-spice
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, sliced and seeds removed (or keep for added spice)
  • 1 c. red bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. mirin
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
Vegetables and turkey:
  • 1 lb. raw turkey breast, sliced
  • 3 c. baby bok choy
  • 1 c. shiitake mushrooms
Garnishes:
  • ¼ c. scallions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp. peanuts, crushed

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a sheet pan with pan release spray.
  2. In a food processor, blend together peppercorns, five-spice, jalapeño, red bell peppers, oil, honey, mirin, and soy sauce.
  3. Lay out the turkey and vegetables evenly on a sheet pan, and brush with the sauce. Bake for about 20 minutes or until turkey is cooked thoroughly.
  4. Sprinkle with scallions, sesame seeds, and peanuts before serving.
  5. Serves 4
