Snap a Patriotic Picture
What better way to create lasting memories of your red, white, and blue bash than with a festive photo booth? All you need are some picture frames, a backdrop, and some props to take some perfectly patriotic group shots!
Be sure to download these printable patriotic props to help make the most of your photo booth!
Frame it.
Materials
- Medium-sized picture frames
- Thick ribbon, for hanging
- Patriotic props
- Wooden dowels/sticks (to attach to photo booth props)
- Glue or tape
For an easy, breezy photo booth, hang a series of picture frames from a tree in your yard, using thick ribbon on each side of the frame. Hang the frames at different levels so little ones can participate, too!
Hang it up.
Materials
- Plain white bed sheet (or long curtains)
- Wall-safe tacks/pins
- Clothesline/clothespins (if hanging outdoors)
- Patriotic props
- Wooden dowels/sticks (to attach to photo booth props)
- Glue or tape
If you prefer for your photo booth to be indoors, try pinning a plain white bed sheet to the wall. Or hang the sheet from a clothesline for outdoor fun! The width of the sheet will make for some wonderful panoramic shots.

Do you have a large set of windows with long curtains? If so, this makes for the perfect backdrop. Just keep the curtains closed, and hang a variety of red, white, and blue streamers or lightweight decorations from the curtain rod!
