Honey and Cinnamon Grilled Cantaloupe

Cantaloupe is no longer just for fruit salad! This healthy dessert gives cantaloupe powerful hints of sugar and spice thanks to a generous amount of honey, brown sugar, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Serving size: 1 skewer

Ingredients:
  • 1 cantaloupe, cubed
  • ⅓ c. honey
  • ¼ c. butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar

Instructions:
  1. Heat the grill to medium-high. Cut cantaloupe into 2-inch cubes, and slide onto metal skewers.
  2. Combine honey, butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar in a saucepan until melted and smooth. Brush half the mixture onto the cantaloupe.
  3. Place cantaloupe skewers on the grill, and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove from the grill, and serve with the remaining sauce.
