Sorbet for Days

When you’re in the mood for a frozen treat but want to get in your daily serving of fruit, sorbet is your best bet! Light, fruity, and perfectly sweet, sorbet is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser at any summer get-together.

Berry-Mint

Ingredients
  • 1½ c. water
  • 1½ c. sugar
  • 1 c. blueberries
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • Few sprigs fresh mint, finely chopped


Print Recipe
  1. Combine the water, sugar, and blueberries in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to a simmer, and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until blueberries are reduced.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice and mint, and pour the mixture into a metal loaf pan. Freeze for at least 6 hours.

  4. Serves 2

Creamy Peach

Ingredients
  • 1½ c. water
  • 1½ c. sugar
  • 1 c. peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ c. mascarpone


Print Recipe
  1. Combine the water, sugar, diced peaches, and lemon juice in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to a simmer, and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peaches are reduced.
  3. Pour the mixture into a metal loaf pan, and spoon in the mascarpone in small dollops. Using a knife, incorporate the cheese into the mixture, and freeze for at least 6 hours.

  4. Serves 2

Blushing Berry

Ingredients
  • 1½ c. water
  • 1½ c. sugar
  • 1 c. strawberries, diced
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ½ c. dry rosé


Print Recipe
  1. Combine the water, sugar, strawberries, and lemon juice in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to a simmer, and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until strawberries are reduced.
  3. Add in the rosé, and stir to combine. Pour into a metal loaf pan, and freeze for at least 6 hours.

  4. Serves 2
