Almond Butter Toast with Pears and Honey
There are some people who prefer a sweet breakfast, be it pancakes with maple syrup or a Belgian waffle topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream. If you fall under that category, you’re sure to love this twist on toast—spread with a healthy dose of almond butter and topped with fresh pear slices.
Ingredients:
- 2 slices, bread of choice
- 2 tbsp. almond butter
- 1 pear, sliced thin
- A handful of pecans, crushed
- ½ tsp. honey
- Cinnamon, for sprinkling

- Toast both slices of bread until browned.
- Spread the almond butter evenly onto both pieces, and top with the pear slices and crushed pecans.
- Top with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Makes two pieces of toast
