Spring Home Maintenance Schedule
Once winter is over, it’s the ideal time to get organized and give your home new life. Before that basic cleaning begins, there are plenty of things to remember when readying your home for spring.
Depending on where you live, winter can do a number on your foundation and roofing. Be sure to check for any cracks in the attic or flooring that could have allowed water to seep in.
Deep clean your carpets and other flooring, and dust each room—including all ceiling fans.
If you are in a wooded area, make sure there are no overgrown roots, which could damage driveways, walkways, and other areas.
Clear your gutters, downspouts, and any outdoor ventilation of debris.
Power wash your decks, sidewalks, and siding.
